r purchases, you made a major contribution to innovative education in rural Guatemala. (La Puerta Abierta has been developing programs there for nearly two decades.)
On Monday, October 6, La Puerta Abierta held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new school. Work is now underway on a structure that will "celebrate the child, preserve cultural wisdom, promote community, and honor the earth."
